The ‘Big IVSA Win’ - Your chance to win a trip to the USA!

As the exclusive diamond sponsor of the IVSA, Hill’s is proud to be a part of the IVSA Big Win, offering three expense-paid scholarships* to visit the annual SAVMA Symposium. SAVMA is the national association of student chapters of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) at all  schools. SAVMA coordinates student chapter functions, promotes the exchange of ideas and information among students, and represents its members in matters that concern them, both as students and as future veterinarians. The annual SAVMA Symposium is the single largest veterinary student Conference in the world. In 2007, it will be held at the College of Veterinary Medicine of the North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC, USA.

College Feeding Program
At selected veterinary colleges around the world, Hill's donates pet food products at no charge for teaching hospitals’ animal patients and for the pets of students and staff. Schools then have the opportunity to sell this provided food and designate the proceeds to student activities and scholarships. Please ask your veterinary affairs manager if this program is available at your school.

College Visits
Hill’s is pleased to provide students in many colleges with lectures on small animal clinical nutrition from Hill's Veterinary Affairs Managers and the Mark Morris Institute. A wide range of subjects are offered, including preventive health care through nutrition and dietary recommendation for numerous disease indications. Hill’s also provides nutrition curriculum to schools in Japan, Canada and in the United States.

Technical Support

Through the distribution of the textbook Small Animal Clinical Nutrition, 4th edition, and Hill’s Atlas of Veterinary Clinical Anatomy, we hope to contribute to your technical knowledge and your success at many veterinary schools.

Additionally, the Hill’s Student Portal was developed exclusively for veterinary students and offers helpful online resources. For more information, visit HillsVet.com/vetstudent.

Students around the globe can also take advantage of the Hill’s Veterinary Nutritional AdvocateSM (VNA), a unique, online educational experience. At no cost to you, VNA will help enhance your ability to understand, communicate and benefit from advocating proper pet nutrition. For more information, visit VNA.HillsVet.com.

Global Student Conferences

Hill’s and IVSA collaborate to send students to veterinary conferences around the world, including the IVSA Congress and the annual SAVMA Symposium in the United States.

Held in California in 2006, IVSA Congress is the largest IVSA annual event, where the most important decisions for the association are passed. The mission of the 2006 IVSA Congress is to advance international veterinary education through the exchange of ideas and strategic partnerships between global veterinary student communities.

The World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) will hold its 2006 World Congress in Prague, capital of the Czech Republic. WSAVA’s purpose is to advance the quality and availability of small animal medicine and surgery by fostering the exchange of scientific information among individual veterinarians and among the world’s veterinary organizations.

Hill’s is your global partner - Hill's long-term investment in learning, technology and talented scientists has helped us develop industry-leading product innovations, making us your one-stop professional resource. Our products are trusted by millions of cat and dog owners, and today, veterinarians recommend and feed their own pets Hill's products more than any other brand of pet food.
